Police have made public alarming footage showing a motorist executing risky skidding techniques on a roundabout during an unauthorized vehicle gathering, placing watching crowds at grave danger of harm.

An individual aged 23 from Southampton was given a 27-week prison sentence, suspended for one year, after admitting to reckless operation of a vehicle.
Additionally, the court imposed a 12-month driving ban and ordered community service along with a rehabilitation program.

As stated by authorities, the video was filmed at an illegal automobile gathering in Portsmouth on December 28th, 2024, showing the driver driving a distinctive colored vehicle.

A police sergeant remarked: “Residents, drivers and our traffic officers have had enough with these crowds of motorists selfishly occupying streets and parking areas and we will not tolerate it.”
He added: “These events are not only a total disturbance, but they also put participants and uninvolved individuals at danger of serious injury.”
He finished: “Our efforts will persist to take legal action against these individuals and I hope these recent cases serve as a warning: you won’t get away with it.”
