The star midfielder Operated in a high role on the right and contributed with the hard yards. Showed flashes of quality but dragged an attempt wide. Replaced late on by Rogers, his competition, following a yellow card. 7/10

The winger Had the team's top opening before halftime, his strike smartly stopped from the opposing goalkeeper. With a teammate holding position, it fell to him to offer an outlet out wide although his balls into the box were inconsistent. Replaced for the final quarter-hour. 6

Harry Kane The decisive figure with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth goals at international level.
