It's difficult for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

That it took as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the pitchers that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their hitters to maintain a record if never given the possibility.

She achieved fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at the World Cup - and her century in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

By the time she was removed the team required another 66 at a run-a-ball - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if we do, we know we can succeed."

That comment will be the final thing rival teams at this World Cup need to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they were eliminated from the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - an encounter Healy missed because of torn tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the initial instance at a significant event.
