The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in an LA Traffic Collision
The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in California he was 55 years old.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The influential industry figure passed away following his automobile collided and burst into flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents an unimaginable loss, and we stand with Vince's family, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
